Gerwin, Nick, and Thomas met at Utrecht University during their master's programs. What began as a shared thesis project turned into a company, with the university itself as their first office.
In 2020, Oddity raised its first round of funding from TIN Capital, followed by a second round in 2022. Since 2025, the team has been working with care organizations across the United States, bringing real-time detection to the facilities that need it most.
